Chef Suda Oun-in and Jeerasak Boonlert are the married owners of Thai D Jing. Chef Suda grew up in Chiang Rai and lived in various areas of the country before attending and completing the esteemed culinary program at Dusit Thani College in Bangkok.
Jeerasak grew up in Udon Thani and traveled throughout Asia residing in India for two years. They began their culinary journey together in New Orleans in September 2013 by creating a small, authentic menu to participate in farmers' markets and special events. As their popularity grew they purchased and refurbished a food truck in 2015 which proved to be very successful. The next step of their dream was to one day find the perfect location for a dine- in restaurant. Purchased in 2017 the "Pink House" renovations began in January 2020. The restaurant opened August 2020 with the help of the community and friends.
We have always dreamed of owning our own restaurant. We began our journey with a Thai Food Truck, and we are so thankful to our loyal customers over the years. You have followed us faithfully and we are so grateful.
We have made the most wonderful friends along the way!
Now our dream is a reality. It has been a labor of love, and a dream come true.
